TeachingTeaching to improve standards and ease the learning process is one of the most important aims of North West Uilleann Pipers. We offer one to one, 15-20 minute lessons at our monthly meetings. We have up to three experience teachers giving lessons each meeting. We currently have one practice set that is hired out to anyone interested in trying the Uilleann Pipes. The hire rate is to meet maintenance costs. If you are interested in this practice set, please get in touch. In the near future this section will have a download area containing recorded and written music. We run occasional workshops on pipe maintenance, reed making, tuning, etc. A reed making tool kit is available for members to borrow, allowing pipers easier access to reed making experience.
