NWUP is very pleased to announce a Tionól at Manchester Town Hall on

Saturday 27th March with Jarlath Henderson

Followed by an evening concert at The White Swan, Fallowfield

Jarlath Henderson

Jarlath Henderson  from Dungannon, County Tyrone, is a three times ‘All-Ireland Champion’, teaches music with the renowned Armagh Pipers Club, and has both taught and performed at a number of international piping festivals on television and radio.

The Tionól workshops in Uilleann Piping and reed making will run from 9.30am-4.30pm at Manchester Town Hall. Detail of the evening concert to be announced

Reed making workshops will be run by Alan Burton

 

 

All daytime workshops will be limited to 10 people.

The venue for the evening concert holds a maximum of 50 people, book early to avoid disappointment. Reserved (unpaid for) tickets will only be held until 9pm.

Costs are:

Uilleann Pipes Workshop £12.50 morning or afternoon
Reed Making Workshop £15 all day
Evening Concert £8
Daytime and Concert Tickets £1 off total if bought together
Concessions £1 off total

 The current itinerary for the day is:

9.30am - 10am Arrive and have coffee/tea
10am - 12pm Beginners/Intermediate Uilleann piping class with Jarlath
10am - 12pm Drop in session for anyone who would like to try some pipes
10am - 12pm Reed making with Alan Burton
12pm - 1pm Lunch
1pm - 3.00pm Intermediate/Advanced Uilleann Piping workshops with Jarlath
1pm - 4.30pm Reed making with Alan Burton
3.20pm Piping recital with Jarlath
8.45pm Evening Concert (at The White Swan, Fallowfield)
